What is a flexible spending account?

A flexible spending account is also known as an FSA. Like a health savings account (HSA), it’s a program that allows you to set aside pre-tax for specific health care expenses. If you’re unsure whether or not you have an FSA, please check with your employer or insurance carrier.

What can I purchase with my FSA or HSA?

FRAMED EWE Optical accepts FSA and HSA dollars for prescription eyewear purchases, which includes prescription eyeglasses, prescription sunglasses, lenses and progressives.You can also use them towards eye exams (including contact lens fittings), as long as your FSA or HSA card is affiliated with major credit card. You can even use your FSA or HSA dollars towards the addition of blue-light-filtering lenses and some FSA's cover sunglasses.

What's the best way to place my FSA or HSA order?

First, double-check the balance on your FSA account.

You can place an order on FRAMEDEWE.com, using your FSA or HSA card as you would any other credit card. Make sure you have an up-to-date prescription, select the option to add lenses.
